We are the nature lover’s general store, specializing in everything to do with bird feeding and bird watching, including seed, feeders, baths, hardware and optics. Also included in our offerings are clothing, jewelry, books, kids stuff and many great gift items. We are located in the King’s Court Center at the corner of Los Gatos Blvd. and Blossom Hill Road, in Los Gatos.

Lisa Myers’ Adults vs. Juveniles Workshop
Class: THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Field Trip: SATURDAY, JUNE 29, 8:00 – 10:00 AM
Fee: $20 per person
To become a better birder you have to be able to identify the juvenile birds from the adults. Some birds are born precocial and are ready for the world as soon as they emerge from their egg; while other birds are altricial and need a lot of help from their parents before they leave the nest. Learning to ID an immature bird in juvenile plumage will make bird identification much easier.
